It’s our ongoing commitment to look at ways we can evolve and continuously improve on our technical solutions, service and process by obtaining invaluable feedback from our valued customer, clients and partners.

Staging Connections Group developed the first risk management system designed specifically for the events industry, StageSafe. StageSafe is an award-winning system and represents our unique approach to events risk management. It was developed to ensure our crews apply consistent safety controls at all of our shows, backed by thorough risk assessment and years of experience in the events industry.

Training and Performance

Training and Performance

Our People are our best asset, delivering in excess of 50,000 events each year. At SCGL we strive to retain the best people in the industry and are proud to be a Registered Training Organisation within Australia. Our employees can receive a formal qualification on completion of courses in SCGL’s ongoing training program which provides a benchmark for required knowledge and skills to deliver a premium product and service to the industry. In addition to providing industry benchmarking training we have also implemented bespoke employee performance and recognition programs – Drum Roll and Applause respectively. Drum Roll is our award-winning talent management system designed to connect our geographically spread and mobile workforce. Off the back of Drum Roll’s success, Applause was launched to reward and recognise our people for living the Staging Connections Group’s values every day.

1986

Network Hire (1982 – 1985) was relaunched as Staging Connections.

2002

Staging Connections establishes New Zealand office.

2003

AAV Limited acquires Staging Connections

2005

Staging Connections delivers key event for AMWAY
Largest corporate event ever delivered in Australia - USD $7M, 14,000 attendees.

2006

AAV Limited acquires Stageworks Pty Ltd in Cairns and Exhibitions and Trade Fairs (ETF) a successful specialist events and exhibition company started in 1979. 

Later in 2006, AAV Limited is relaunched as Staging Connections Group Limited.

Following the relaunch, Staging Connections Group Limited acquires ETG China, expanding the Group into Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou under the name ETG Staging Connections.
Staging Connections expands its operations into a network of Fiji hotels and resorts.

2008

Staging Connections Group Limited acquires Singapore's The Event Company.

2009

ETF awarded Best Trade Show Under 10,000 sqm for Australian Business Events expo by Exhibition and Event Association Australiasia.
Staging Connections Australia voted Best AV/Production/Staging/Exhibition company in mice.net magazine’s inaugural Reader’s Choice awards.

2010

Staging Connections awarded Technical & Creative Production for MEA Awards and Best A/V
Production/Staging/Exhibition Company by micenet Australia Readers’ Choice Awards for the second consecutive year.
The Event Company wins #1 Event Agency of the Year in Singapore for 5th year running.

2012

ETF awarded Best New Show – Entech by Exhibition and Events Association Australiasia.
The Event Company - winner of the inaugural MARKies Award for the Best Branding design

2014

ETF awarded Best Consumer Show over 10,000 sqm for Motorclassica and Best Show Team for the National 4x4 Show by Exhibition and Events Association Australaisa.

ETG Staging Connections delivers their largest event for Microsoft’s 2015 Kick Off conference in Xiamen.
